Richard Johnson, RN, CHT
Richard Johnson RN, CHT has been an ICU nurse with Toronto Western Hospital, since training at Ryerson University in 1989. He completed his CHT in 1992 and is working as Controller for the Hyperbaric Medicine Unit of Toronto General Hospital and at the Ontario Wound Care Centre. He completed his certificate as a Diabetes Educator from the Michener Institute in 2009.
He has been teaching the patient care component of NBDHMT courses for CHT/CHRN since 2002 and UHMS certified courses for MDs in Toronto and Ottawa. He was a board member of the UHMS Great Lakes Chapter – the precursor to CC_UHMS.
Richard is a member of the CSA Committee on standards for Hyperbaric Facilities (Z275.1) and has taught mindfulness meditation and yoga. He can be reached at email@example.com.
