Course Description
The course will involve the simulators at the CESEI and also the hyperbaric facilities located at Vancouver General Hospital. The advanced scenarios encompass both multiplace and monoplace situations and will challenge experienced and new hyperbaric professionals both in clinical and diving medicine cases. The small numbers will enable hands-on experience and opportunities for leadership for all participants. The course entails development of decision-making and procedural skills. Expert debriefing will occur after each scenario. Course Accreditation is for 7.5 units in category 3, provided by the RCPSC and CCFP. Due to the highly engaging and innovative hands-on nature of the course, early registration is recommended.
