We are pleased to announce that our new website went live on July 16, 2021, and now includes the opportunity to register for our virtual 2021 Annual Scientific Meeting, taking place November 13 & 14, 2021. Our website has many new features, including a members-only section.

Our first national M&M rounds was hosted by the Hyperbaric Medicine Unit, Toronto General Hospital, on June 24, 2021, and was attended by hyperbaric physicians and technologists from all across Canada. Many thanks to Dr. Tariq Esmail for his interesting presentation on HBOT and latent tuberculosis. If you are interested in hosting an upcoming M&M rounds, please let us know. The date and the topic of the next M&M rounds in September 2021 will be communicated in the near future.

The practice eligibility route to obtain the Diploma in Area of Focused Competency in Hyperbaric Medicine is active and has started reviewing first applicants. Please refer to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada website for more information.
